Kulttuuribaana Oy carries out the cultural experiences of the Art Centre Culture Bank. It offers experiences even for those customers that traditional art museums and exhibitions do not reach. We want to transform the old bank building into an oasis of visual culture and performing arts.

AN EXPERIMENTAL AND AGILE EVENT CENTRE
The hosts of Art Centre Culture Bank are Olli Kuivamäki and Liisa Laukka.
“To make art more accessible, we must dare to do things differently,” says Olli Kuivamäki. A successful entrepreneur in the construction industry, he has renovated several valuable buildings during his career. Now he wants to revive the mysterious bank building and transform it into a meeting place for ordinary people.
Liisa Laukka’s keyword in working life is passion. “Whatever you do, do it with passion. We are excited about the possibilities of this building and how it can serve Oulu’s diverse cultural life.”
The new hosts of the bank agree that coming from outside the traditional cultural circles is their strength. They are building a daringly experimental and agile event centre.
