ANDY WARHOL POSTERS EXHIBITED FOR THE LAST TIME IN A WHILE

The granite walls of the former Bank of Finland building in Oulu will protect the exhibitions of two artists named Andy this summer. Andy Warhol goes Arctic exhibition consisting of 140 posters by Andy Warhol, the iconic pop art figure, and an array of rock musician Andy McCoy’s paintings and colourful hats. Art Centre Culture Bank hosts the exhibitions in Oulu from 2 June to 17 September 2023.

The Andy Warhol poster collection, owned by the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg Hamburg Museum of Art, has toured galleries and museums worldwide for years. It is now possible to see the poster exhibition for the last time in a long while: After the Oulu exhibition, the works will return to Hamburg from the world tour, and the show will take a break. The posters will not be displayed for the next 15 years.
